Novel Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

     Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is The seventh and final novel of the Harry Potter series. Written by British author; J. K. Rowling, the novel that following Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tells about the final confrontation between the wizards Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. It was released on 21 July 2007 by Bloomsbury Publishing in the United Kingdom. And it’s released in Indonesia on January 2008 by Gramedia Pustaka Utama. It called Harry Potter dan Relikui Kematian and transleted by Listiana Srisanti.

Start at Malfoy Manor, Snape tells Voldemort the date that Harry’s friends are planning to move him from the house on Privet Drive to a new safe location, so that Voldemort can capture Harry’s route. To save Harry, the leader of Order of the Phoenix; Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody ask the six of his friends take Polyjuice Potion to disguise themselves as Harry. On the way to Burrow, they meet the “death eaters” and the leader of them; Lord Voldemort. When they fight, Harry’s white owl; Hadwig killed, harry feel so sorry about that. Harry can arrives at the Burrow and when his friends get there, he knows  that Moody has been killed. The sunpences story is only the opening. Main story of the novel is the great adventures of Harry, Ron, and Hermione to find and destroy the Voldemort’s Horcruxes, it place the part of his soul, making himself immortal as long as the objects survive. And the most important from the all story is Profesor Snape’s secret reveal.

Released globally in 93 countries, Deathly Hallows broke sales records as the fastest-selling book ever, a record it still held in 2012, and also been translated into over 120 languages. And the most amazing is the book won the 2008 Colorado Blue Spruce Book Award, and the American Library Association named it a "Best Book for Young Adults".  A two-part film adaptation by the novel was released, part 1 at November 2010, and part 2 at July 2011. J. K. Rowling is the one of the greates novelist in British, she can make the reader feel the character feeling. The book tell about live of witch, so it’s had many terms like spell and magic animals. Harry Potter lovers have to know  and memorize all of the terms and character’s names, so he or she can understand the story line. All of the Harry Potter series had many page, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the most thick between the other series. Because of that, read this novel take a lot times.
